Chae Sunbi

I have always been deeply moved by the elegance and anatomy of the human form. This piece is a digital reimagining of an extraordinary photograph captured by Korean photographer Yongsub Kwak, featuring Korean yoga instructor and model Chae Sunbi in a breathtaking pose. Captivated by the original image, I merged the natural curves of her body with the fluid lines of Arabic and Persian calligraphy, overlaying traditional Persian rug patterns onto her attire alongside calligraphic tattoos. When I shared the completed piece on Instagram, it caught the attention of Chae Sunbi herself, whose appreciation made this artwork deeply meaningful and personal to me.
