Biography

I’m Ermac Kiyani, a Persian artist born in Kuwait, currently based in the Middle East and constantly on the move.

My journey into the arts started in my teenage years with an analog camera, and alongside photography, I’ve always been passionate about painting, calligraphy, and creating collages. Over the years, these interests blended together and led me to graphic design. I’ve worked in portrait, studio, news, freelance, and nature photography, but when Photoshop came along with all its amazing possibilities, I truly fell in love with it. That’s when Photoshop became my main focus, and photography turned into more of a hobby.

I have a background in graphic design, and I’m always experimenting with new ways to use digital tools like Photoshop to bring my ideas to life. Lately, I’ve been integrating AI into my artwork, creating a fusion of photography, graphic design, Persian calligraphy, and new technology.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with many brands and studios, and one of my most personal and impactful projects was a photo series called "Pain and Hope," where I documented the lives of children suffering from cancer and other serious diseases. It was a powerful reminder of how art can inspire hope even in the darkest of times.

Besides my professional work, I’m deeply passionate about nature and the environment. This love for the natural world often shows up in my artwork, and I believe in using art to shed light on important social and environmental issues.

For me, art is a way to express emotions, find inner peace, and connect with the world. I’m always motivated to create something new and meaningful, combining traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern technology. If there’s one thing I believe, it’s that art can bring beauty and hope to any situation.
