When I first encountered sexual minorities, growing up in a religious society made it very difficult for me to understand the issue. However, over the years, through research and learning that many of these matters could be innate and genetic, and by interacting more with LGBT individuals, I was able to move past the taboo that society had created in my mind. I even collaborated on a collage project with one of the organizations supporting LGBT, which received a good response on NFT. However, despite these advancements, relationships of this nature are still considered an unforgivable taboo in third-world societies like the Middle East, and governments directly intervene to suppress these relationships. Nevertheless, beneath the surface of society and in secret, these relationships continue to exist. In this piece, which combines AI, Photoshop, and Persian calligraphy, I have attempted to visually represent this forbidden love in a space that evokes an Eastern atmosphere.
