Aphrodite

This is one of my older creations that holds a special place in my heart. The foundation of this piece is a portrait of American singer and model Pia Mia, captured by the renowned fashion photographer Arezoo Jalali. The model's elegant posture immediately reminded me of the classic Persian Paisley pattern, known as Boteh Jegheh (بته‌جقّه). After several days of intricate digital editing to harmonize the motif with her silhouette, the artwork was completed. Upon sharing it on Instagram, I was thrilled to receive a positive response from the photographer herself. Later, this piece was minted as an NFT on objkt, where it was collected.
