Qalam – Times Square Exhibition

For me, this moment was far more than an international exhibition; it was the shattering of a thousand invisible walls. Living in a country bounded by severe internet censorship, heavy sanctions, and suffocating geographic and political limitations with minimal resources, reaching Times Square from the corner of my dark room felt almost impossible. Watching my artwork live through a streaming camera on June 24, 2025, brought a heavy lump to my throat; it felt like a prisoner gazing at a bird soaring freely in the sky. It was a deeply surreal, tearful sensation and undoubtedly the most memorable milestone of my artistic journey so far. More detailed coverage of this event has been shared on my Instagram page.
